International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management
IFPSM is a non-profit, non-political organization and unites 48 national and regional purchasing associations on a global level. Therefore about 250,000 professionals are part of the network and can be reached. Its main objective is to improve the standard of living of people worldwide by facilitating the generation and thus distribution of knowledge within in the procurement profession in order to enhance business practices. The federation’s working definition of procurement entails purchasing, materials management, logistics, supply chain management as well as strategic sourcing.
