To all our students: join the Learning Activity on Purchasing & Supply Management (PSM) at Staffordshire University!
Who is elligible? Students of the following institutions involved in the project consortium:
- Staffordshire University
- TU Dortmund University
- Hochschule Mainz
- Twente University
- Lappeenranta University of Technology
What will happen? A learning activity and teaching event to evaluate the PSM curriculum that is being designed through the project. You will gain knowledge about PSM fundamentals and insights into current practive, issues and challenges in the filed of PSM. The one-week programme will consist of lectures in a small training group as well as case studies to be prepared and presented in group work. You will participate in workshops, and will have the opportunity to get to know each other and share intercultural experience and improve your interpersonal and social skills. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
The contents of the course will be specified further in advance of the event.
When will it happen? 13th-17th November 2017
Where will it happen? Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, UK
Attendance fee: €300 in which travel and accommodation are included and will be organised centrally.
Requirements for participation:
You should be:
- A student enrolled on a degree course in an appropriate subject area (for example, Business, Economics, Accounting, Mangement, Engineering, etc.) …
- At least in your second year of study
- Have an interest in PSM, but no prior knowledge is required
